I think it leads to silly results, like the Teen Vogue editor fired for mildly controversial tweets abt Asians (in high school!) and the AP journalist fired for pretty uncontroversial pro-Palestine tweets. That leads to a more stultifying public convo controlled by buttoned-up risk-averse gatekeepers.
