The only time I felt a rift was after Bernie Sanders dropped out and Liz was absolutely devastated. Josh grilled her, fairly, but a grilling nonetheless and Liz just checked out. It was nice you were able to get her back on the show recently, but an innocent victim in that debacle was Rich Lowry. Rich never came back. Even though he, too, like most of the conservative guests you booked isn't pro-Trump per se, he was probably the most pro-Trump of the conservatives you booked on LRC. It would be nice to get him back on your pod! He seemed to be a closer barometer of the Republican party than a lot of the conservative guests who go out of their way to distance themselves from the Trumpy parts of the party.
Loved this piece, found Sara's comments regarding the political podcast production process fascinating (hope to learn more!), and think you can obviously apply a lot of these principles to much more than just politics. I personally find the "If I were to literally die unless I successfully persuade this person" hypothetical helpful both for thinking through what NOT to do as well as keeping the temperature down.
I'm have great difficulty in reading your "VerySerious" postings as you seem to have difficulty in expressing some point other then using 'street language' ..stating exclusion of some interviewees as them being "full of shit" or " assholes," leaves me to wonder if you either have a deficiency in language skills or critical discussion abilities. My worry is If someone like myself who thinks interviewing almost anyone from the Media to express their positions on current issues, is just providing an additional platform to continue their bias and ill-informed positions, that I might fall into one of the two aforementioned groups, should I make a posting to your site.
Really liked Sara's comments in the piece. I hope we get to see or read more of her. Came for Josh happy to have discovered Sara

I dunno, I thought "full of shit" and "assholes" were perfectly clear in context.
Just another comment on language skills!
I think you might be taking the title of this newsletter a bit too much at face value.
Thanks, I'll consider that
